What are your favorite horror videogames?

I got some DOOM, QUAKE, PARASITE EVE, DUKE NUKEM, NIGHTMARE CREATURES, and other games!

The Silent Hill games were always a bit freaky. Also, there was a game a while back entitled Manhunt that was kinda scary. Though not Halloween oriented, I tend to stick to sports games.

I was waiting for someone to bring this one up! I LOVE computer games, I just don't play them a lot. When I do, I prefer the creepy detective type stories. A couple of really great games that I go back to every once in awhile are: Phantasmagoria and The Beast Within. REALLY great stuff for you FMV fans (Full Motion Video).

Another really good one is The Pandora Directive. But lately, the SCARIEST games I've played are the two from the Dark Fall series: Dark Fall, which takes place in an old abandoned and haunted train station.
And Lights Out, which takes place in an old abandoned (and yes, HAUNTED) light house. VERY creepy and well worth the 20 bucks.

Honorable mention has to go to one of my all time favorites, The Dark Eye, which is based around a series of Edgar Allan Poe stories. VERY COOL!
