Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

Summer time is for me to do the work. By the end of summer, I have to put them up and save them in the barn till showdown in October!

I start planning on paper actually soon after Halloween for the following Halloween. Then really start sketching it out in more of a hard draft in spring. Then by summer it is pretty much set in "concrete". Then it is just a matter of putting it all together. Gathering what I want or need and putting it where I want. And of course it never fails it all falls apart the week of Hallween and I have to change plans. LOL That has happened on 3 separate occassions, I've had to totally revamp the entire haunted house in a matter of hours. Running a full haunted house is very time consuming.

With 24 hours of taking down our display while it is still fresh in our minds. The only month that we back down is december simply because it is such a busy month.
