THAT! was a long weekend. My legs still hurt. Did a lot of walking downtown. This is now like San Diego's Mardi Gras. I did indeed see someone dressed like Kolchak. Couldn't get through the crowd to take him down. My bad.

Bummer. October's zombie walk and next year's Comic-Con walk have been cancelled. Only takes one impatient jerk to ruin a fun event.

The driver was found guilty of felony reckless driving. It occurred to me, not only did the guy push into a crowd with a 2 ton car, that road is one lane, he went around other cars to do so. My guess is that's why the guy on the pedicab in the video was saying something.

Are they saying it was premeditated? That's just sick. People can't go out and have fun anymore because of idiots like this. But it is still an overreaction to stop what had become a tradition. Once again the PC Police ban it for everyone because of one jerk weed. A ton of overkill when all that is needed is an ounce of prevention.

I did some security late one night the other night for a zombie movie being filmed here. Its supposed to be New York and they filmed the scene where they had over 200 extras dressed up like zombies. e scenewas shot at 2 in the morning and it required that the zombies be illuminated by a helicopter spot light. But they had no helicopter and so they put a big light on a crane and had it shine down on the zombies as they walked under it. It was pretty cool even if they shot the exact same scene over and over for like three hours. One of the guys working on the movie told me that they would cut those three hours down to five minutes for the movie.
