You guys would be offended if I did the image I have in my wild, over the top brain. I was thinking of Jesus with blood all over his robe with demonic looking contact lenses and sharp teeth, bleeding wounds on the hands and feet and head where there's the crown of thorns, and holding a lamb with it's neck broken and bleeding all over the place. Yah, I have issues.

I'm abysmally behind on making my costume. I have all the fabric, thread, and do-dads I need to complete it. I haven't started cutting it out at all... due to the fact that I have no idea how large I'll be around the end of October-- I seem to have contracted one of those 40-week parasites and will be spawning sometime mid-March.

Should I ever be afflicted with one of these parasites that you speak of, I'll be sure to describe it to everyone just as you did. I think I actually snorted when I read that Jade

Oh, if you think that was great... I had this long conversation about parasites-- the guy I was telling actually thought I had contracted something like a tape worm. That conversation went something like this:

me: I may have picked up a parasite.... this is disconcerting.

Friend: how large?

me: Did you see the movie Prometheus?

Friend: yeah did you like it?

me: Not really

Friend: didn't think you would.

me: My parasite gets about as large as a small dog...

Friend: wow

me: and then detaches itself like an ALIEN

Friend: is it fatal?

me: It can be, but likely I will survive

Friend: wow. well, I hope you do. how did you get this detachable puppy?

me: The usual way

Friend: water?

me: lol

Friend: That was my second guess, anyway. I figured you probably didn't eat feces.

me: Wrong sort of parasite. The one I'm talking about lingers around... for say... 18-26 years after it detaches

Friend: OH God.

Friend: So there will be another you... I feared this day would come.

Speaking of Prometheus, Noomi Rapace performing her own C-section might have been the best scene in the whole movie.

So, if I'm counting backwards correctly, you'll be about mid-way by the end of October? A person generally starts putting on a little weight at the beginning of the second trimester, so your figure may start to expand a little by Halloween, but most of the weight gain happens toward the end. Just decide on something loose-fitting, and you'll be fine. Congrats, Jadewik!
