Again, Witchy, the reason why it was so predictable is because we already know the Larry Tolbat story. It's like all the different renditions of "Dracula" that are out there. We all know the story, so no screen adaptation is going to have any suprises to offer, but there is the posibility for a really high quality, true to the original book, telling of the "Dracula" saga that's possible.

Since I already saw it in the theater, I can wait till it becomes a $10 movie at Target, and then I'll buy it. Wouldn't mind seeing it again around Halloween.

I watched it last night, I have never seen the original (I know I know) so I didnt have the original story down..........I liked this one up until the fight scene at the end, they lost me on that, looked cheesy.......but over all I'd say it was pretty good.

I just re-watched The Wolfman today... Rented it from Blockbuster, but the cheap b@stards rent a copy that doesn't have any special features!! :x What a rip off!!

I did watch the extended, unrated version instead of the theatrical one, which I reviewed somewhere above, and I have to say it was much better. There was more character exposition, and the whole thing felt less choppy. I don't know why they call it the "unrated" version, since it didn't seem to have any more blood or guts or severed heads than the theatrical version... I guess it's a marketing thing. Or maybe it's just that the MPAA isn't able to rate movies that don't have glaring plot holes plugged up with CGI.

Anyway, I enjoyed the unrated version enough that I'm adding it to my Amazon wishlist, and when it drops below ten bucks, I'll probably buy it. Hopefully before Halloweenmonth.

Watched Wolfman the other day. I wasn't expecting much. I am usually let down by all of the theatrical hype some movies get.

I really liked it! I watched it twice back to back. I wanted to catch the little things I missed.
Really good flick! I think it is going on my all time faves list.

The thing I liked about the new "Wolf Man," is the realistic way in which the time period is portrayed. You see the horible things being done in that insane asylum that Larry Tolbat was in. You see all the different classes that people lived in, and how people were judged by what class they were in. It also had all the elements of a great terror movie to boot. You had the wearwolf turning into a monster at the riseing of the full moon. You have the beautiful dansels in distress, and the creepy old mansion in the creepy old country side.

Like I said, I definately will have a copy of it in my collection long before this years Halloween season is upon us.
