No, Witchy. An old lady car is a 2010 mercury or lincoln town car with a wienerschnitzel ornament hanging from the rearview.

Middle aged and old are two different things.

45+ is middle aged, I'd assume. Old is 60+.

Incidently, pouring cold water directly onto a hot engine, especialy an over heated engine is a great way to crack the engine block ( if it's a cast iron) or warp it (if it's an aluminum engine block.) When your car over heats, you pull over to the side, open the hood and allow time for it to cool down. If the cause of your car's over heating is a leaky radiator hose, you replace the hose. When when you replace the coolant, you START THE ENGINE, ( after it's had about an hour to cool down) and you add the coolent directly into the radiator. After the radiator is full, the thermostat opens, and the water is flowing good, you put the radiator cap back on, and you fill that plastic resivwar to the fill line with new coolant. By the way, coolant should be 50% water, 50% anti freeze.
As for driving too slow, that, too can get you into an accident. I can understand that some one might want to save on gas, so he's 10 miles under the speed limit, but 20 miles under is a bit much, and is also a tad inconsierate of other motorists. Some times that can't be avoided. Engine trouble, a transmission failure, or poor visability or conditions often make it necessary to slow down. But doing 45 in a 65 is just plane rude and very dangerous. I have anolder sister who didn't even learn how to drive until she was in her 40s. No offence intended towards women drivers in general, because many of them are fine drivers, but my older sister is about the worst driver EVER to get behind the wheel of a car. My mom was an okay driver, but had no 'horse sense' mechanicaly. She drove all the way from 111th and Polaski to New Lenox once, with no oil in the oil pan. She totaly fried the valves, and that car, a beautiful 1974 Ford LTD, was never the same again.
