I loooove Halloween. The entire movie is eerie, and I never get sick of it. Nosferatu was creepy! Something about the way he walked even in the beginning of the movie gave me goosebumps. The Exorcist is the only movie that terrified me, even in broad daylight. For some reason I didn't really like The Hills Have Eyes. I need to watch it again and see if maybe it grows on me. The Omen: The anitchrist has arrived! And he's 5 years old. One of the creepiest, most suspenseful movies ever. You'll see why this is a classic.
The Exorcist: The spiderwalk, the projectile vomit, the crucifix rape. The best possession movie ever.
The Shining: Classic. The best ghost movie ever, this will have you on the edge of your seat, and sleeping with the lights on
Rosemary's Baby: One of the best movies ever from any genre, and one of the scariest movies of all time (with hardly any gore at all) its just one big scarefest! Personally, to me, this movie is the ultimate reason that the Omen was made, and I see the Omen as an inadvertent sequel.
Cujo: One of the scariest movies ever, you'll think differently of asking to pet strange dogs
Hellraiser: A Horror fan's horro movie. Unrelenting, unforgiving, unremorseful and downright gross.
Halloween: One of the most suspenseful horror movies ever, William Shatner masks have never been so terrifying
A Nightmare On Elm Street 1: When people sleep, and dream of dying, do we die in reality? Well only if Freddy gets us first!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Now we can rest safe, as we now know what's in the "mystery meat"! This horror classic will have you refusing hamburgers, and going to Texas for a long time.
American Werewolf In London: Guys goes to London. Gets Bitten by Wolf. Guy becomes werewolf. Guy kills friend. Guy can see the dead corpses of the people he kills. Downright scary!
Night of the Living Dead: One of the first zombie films, this looks more realistic then any of todays, which adds to the scariness. Absolutely classic.
Nosferatu: One of the oldest creepiest horror films out there, it will scare you in ways that you never thought possible. Silent film adds to the creepiness
The Thing: One of John Carpenter's best films, aliens take over bodies, and can genetically
duplicate any human it touches. Full of suspense, and downright awesome.
Re-Animator: Take Frankenstein, put it on steroids, add a ton of gore and special effects, and you won't sleep for 3 weeks.
The Last House On The Left: Just completely disturbing, make sure you watch the original.
Black Christmas: Classic. Demented killer living the attic of an old sorority house, that kills all who enter.
Amityville Horror I and II: Legendary, no matter whether you believe it happened or not, plenty scary.
The Hills Have Eyes: A family of circus freaks living in the mountains, killing and eating people who become lost. Need I say more.
Bad Ronald: You'll probably need to look this one up on ebay, but trust me, its worth it. Originally a made for TV horror in 1974, its amazing that something this good and scary wasn't bigger
A Clockwork Orange: Not really a horror movie, but I consider it to be one. One of the best home invasion movies ever.
Freaks: This one messed up movie. Made in 1932, its about carnival sideshow freaks (Uses real carnival freaks)
I've now been reminded that there are a lot of movies I have yet to see.
