FYI: There are a few members who have been around here before... Some are still hanging around on Halloween-L forum site. Some of you might want to check it out.

Wolfman, Ya but isn't it loaded with Caffiene?? I quit everything with Caffiene in it

my one neighbour drinks this highly loaded caffiene drink, can't think of the name of it at the moment, but my lord she acts like a super charged Methhead on it, its aweful to watch the way she behaves on the stuff, she drinks 6-8 bottles a day....

I am still around too...it's been crazy around my place ...the weekends are insane with the B & B, the people that were here this past weekend....could not believe the magnatitude of Halloween stuff I had.
I went shopping today and bought even more stuff....cause my Halloween party is less than 2 weeks away...been busy getting ready for it....I volunteered to decorate a barn next weekend ...so I have to get ready for that now. Plus, I have people coming next week for the weekend at the B & B, and we are going on a train ride next Sunday.
Lats night I made 3 gift baskets for our party. So, I definately am working the whole Halloween thing still, it just is hard to post right now though...because of all that.
I did get my Halloween gifts from my pal, Mandy,- the other day, and haven't even had time to write about that...but it was way cool, I got great stuff.
I can't wait to post party pictures!

I guess we're all just really busy with things coming down to the wire...
We all like to talk the talk, now it's time to walk the walk!!!
But would we have it any other way?????
I know I've been constructing and painting and gluing and stapling like a madwoman the past two days, and I miss spending loads of time here, but there are just so many hours in a day. But my Halloween friends are always on my mind, and I can't wait to share all my decorations with you guys.

Hey spookyboo

, wow do you have a ton of stuff on the go. I don't know how you all do it. I feel so ashamed when I see how much others have on the go, oh how I long to be well again. I really look up to all of you who are working such long hours at jobs and can still manage to do such incredible decorating. I hope to be there one day again too.

I went to a Haunted House tonight...and it was good!
It's called Creepy Hollow and is in Culver City, California. A small attraction built inside a store space, this is carefully mazed out and gets its scares not from mechanical props but more the old fashioned way, from performers. It is fantastic and I recommend it if you are in the Los Angeles area.

OOOH! Nothings better than the performers. ESPECIALLY if they love what they do, and know how to do it. You can tell when a performer is putting their all into their character. Just as much as you can tell when someone is doing it without feeling or if they stay in character.
I was part of a haunt where they didn't do much in the way of animated props. Most of it, say 95% of it was actors. and we had a "Go get 'em" group. Like over 50 people, costumed & make-up. What an ugly bunch. But we loved it 100%. Best time I ever had was working for charity.
You know everyone was there for the fun. They showed up night after night. From 6:00PM til way past 1:00 or 2:00AM. Depends when the line emptyed. We refused no one. Sure, we were tired. But we had a riot! Today, I don't think I could meet the demand. Nothing was better than working with the JC's.
