Hmmm. I've always thought the exact opposite to be true. The scientific method seeks not only contradictory evidence to disprove a hypothesis, but also corroborating evidence to support one. Existence leaves behind evidence. In fact, that may be a pretty good working definition of existence.

Big foots live in the mountains somewhere like the state of Washington, Oregon, Canada etc.
I've never seen it before, but some people saw it in Fredericksburg, VA - about 200 miles away from my city.

BIGFOOTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN ALL 48 CONTINENTAL STATES.
THEY HAVE EVEN BEEN SEEN COMING OUT OF UFOS!!!!

The History Channel is showing a lot of Monster Quest episodes today, mostly Bigfoot or Sasquatches and monsters of that type.

If I remember correctly, there was a song on the radio about Big Foot. I heard it while vacationing out West, and the song was pretty popular localy. I never heard it in Chicago. It went something like this, but if I mess it up, please excuse me. I am relating something I heard on a tiny transistor radio in the mid 70s.
