I am the parent that holds it together when bad things happen. Broken bones, high fevers, stitches. My DH crashes and burns with panic. After it is over, the kid is fine and I am in bed sick with a migrane. I crash and burn afterward.

Glad to hear the kiddo is ok. Kids are much tougher than we are. They are designed that way, otherwise they would never try new things or take risks!

I find it kind of funny when a toddler does something that looks like it would hurt, but doesn't start crying until they see what kind of expression is on the closest parent or adult.
