Around here, rain in the fall is a good thing. It makes the leaves turn colors. If we have a dry fall, everything just turns brown.

Yes that's true. Our colours will be great this year, as we've had loads of rain during most of September so far! So they should be better than usual!

It just gets a bit much sometimes. Our summer was a washout too!

I have all ready got that halloween feeling. Last week whilst walking to the shops the leaves where starting to fall off trees their was a overcast sky and a cold wind was blowning. I smiled because I knew it was nearing oct 31st

It's sunny here, but there is a chilly breeze and a few leaves on the ground. Not much turning here yet, though.

49 degrees here in Southern Wisconsin...overcast and chilly but BEAUTIFUL!!! I can feel the Halloween chill in the air...I love it!!

38 days till Halloween!!!

It''s 53 degrees so far, with an overcast. High today is suppose to be 70, the leaves are starting to change too, I love fall!!!

We're really getting down to the wire. Just a little over a month for the 'big day," but as far as I'm concerned, the entire month of october through the 2nd of November is the Halloween season. My decorations go up next Wednesday, and my first jack o'lantern gets carved a week from tomorrow. Tomorrow I do my Halloween cleaning and Sunday, weather permitting, I mow the grass. I won't have to do that job too many more times.

Some of my inside decorations will be going up on Thursday. I bought some better Halloween lights this year. In the past i've only ever had small battery operated sets, this year i've gone for a ghost & pumpkin electrical set.

And yes the entire month of October is Halloween season for me too!

I got a large pumpkin last nite.

The temperature in my area is right now 81.

Ok, not yet.... wait b/c I'm too busy to do so. I'll post pics. Too much work to do for me, you know? Me and my girlfriend will not do a lot of yard display in October b/c we're going to her best friend's house for Halloween party.
