Worst thing I ever got in my trick or treat bag was loose change (nickels and dimes) from this old widowed lady on our block.
I think she had a lot of cats in her house too LOL so stereotypical!
I think I got some Jesus pamphlets in my bag at some point too
Licorice isn't one of my most favorite candies either. Black licorice is the worst

a family in our neighborhood also gave out Watchtower magazines...

I was having this conversation with a buddy of mine a few days ago, and his son went to this house where this old guy was handing out old whisk brooms. Appearently he's been collecting them over the years, and decided to hand them out on Halloween. Talk about LAME.

I don't know about creepy. Accentric perhaps, because the guy who gave them out was very accentrick. But I think he just wanted to get rid of some whisk brooms, and used ToT as the means by which to do that.
