Paranormal Activity

Post by Spookymufu » Sat Jan 02, 2010 4:00 pm

well........I saw it last night........It was hyped way too much. It was interesting and had some creepy parts but not really scary........good rental but not theater ticket price worthy imo

I've seen it at the theater, and I really didn't like it all. Not too scary, even disturbing images! :?

Paranormal Activity / Alternate Ending

Ok, I watched "Paranormal Activity" DVD with the alternate ending at my girls from next door. Well, why they didn't use that ending in the theaters we'll never know, it was a shock. :shock: If you get DVD - watch one that was not in the theaters, way better ending than the other, although it was good too. :)

i liked it a lot but i agree 100% i wouldn't pay theatre prices for it.. there wasn't enough to it to pay $10 to see it while sitting next to a complete stranger :)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

no it wasn't.. it wasn't as scary as they said it was... i just enjoyed it bc for the most part it was pretty realistic (given you believe in ghosts) for a ghost movie (when compared to likes of the Grudge and Haunting in Conneticut)

I thought the grudge was extremely creepy, I list it as my second fav spook movie after the exorcist

Personally, I thought it was pretty good and scary! I think I liked the ending they actually had in the film better. I read that with Paramount bought this film - it was the intentions of re-shooting as a REAL movie, but Speilberg loved it so much he put Paramount up to releasing it as is... so Speilberg, I guess came up with the films ending and they paid the director and actors to re-shoot the ending. :?

The ending we are seeing is not the film's real ending because Paramount had them re-shoot!

All the same I really liked it and thought it was very good! In my opinion.... :)
