Last night, I watched THE EXORCIST (1973)

I completely forgot to watch the Great Pumpkin yesterday. It being the sixtieth anniversary and all.

I have three musicals I watch each Oct, Phantom of the Opera (the 25th anniversary stage version from London), Into the Woods (the film version from 2014), and Sweeney Todd (the televised stage production from rhe early 80s). I've now viewed all of them for this season.

Yesterday I bought a DVD set of a BBC comedy series called Ghosts. I know nothing about it but am hopeful it's good. It's about a young couple who inherit a haunted mansion. Apparently it's been very successful in England, and I have the whole series.

Today, I watched THE FIRST OMEN (2024), a prequel to The Omen (1976)

It was okay but not a film I'd watch again because of its anti-Catholicism

Murf; BBC Ghosts is the original and still running.

The American versions next season starts in the winter for some weird reason, but their halloween special aired last night and the Christmas special will air on December.

There is also an Australian version that is pretty new but I haven't watched it yet.

Well, so far I've just watched the pilot. For most of it I thought it was fairly predictable and mildly amusing, but then there was a twist at the end that made me think it might be more fun going forward.

Hippieluvin, many years ago I started to watch The Omen 1976 on HBO, and the blasphemy in one scene was so intense that I turned it off. It was just too much for me.

I didn't even know Russell Crowe had made an exorcism movie.
