I'm back. Like the proverbial bad penny.

I'm finally back in my house. Just got the cable modem hooked up the other day but this is the first time I've had a chance to stop by here. I see I got a lot of catching up to do. Again. At least this connection is a hell of a lot faster than at the hotel.

Lot of work left to do on the old homestead. Never a better time to do it though. Maybe someday I'll even get furniture again? Still want to build my own desk but don't want to put out the money til I settle with the city.

Soooo... once again, for the third year in a row, I'm gonna be too busy to go full throttle into Halloween. I was sposed to help set up the party but I'm not gonna have time. I'm hoping to get time this weekend to stop by some of the Halloween stores that have opened up but I probably won't buy anything. I'm spending so much money on home improvements there's not much left for the fun stuff. Beer. Always enough money for beer.
