The beginnings of Umuthi, Witch Doctor

I decided I needed a new witch doctor to replace the comical one seen last year:

A bit more on the Witch Doctor side and less on the comic side this year:

His name is Umuthi, Zulu for "medicine", or so the Zulu website I was on said.

I'm going with the jungle African type of witch doctor, even though I have
that cheesy stand for him to have his stuff displayed. I know... it's
goofy, but hey.. most Americans won't know the difference. This is my
reference for headdress and stuff:

Updated how-he-was-made will be coming as I move along with his body, it's the same basic method as the

MHooch: Yes I agree with you, if I could just a 1/3 of what Ghostess does. There should be class demos that we all could attend. Think about that Ghostess.

Thanks... I surf the web a LOT looking at Halloween stuff. Some ideas come from there, some come from movies I watch.. some come from stuff I see at the stores. Inspiration is out there, you just have to keep your eyes open. If you see something that looks cool, try to make it.
