Does anyone play this video game before?

I heard Wolfenstein 3D was a literal precursor to DOOM. I did the Apple ][ GS soundtrack version.

Well, never got into playing it, though... I only have original Wolfenstein for PS system, and the only for Gameboy Advance system. So, does 3D look good? Suck? Please send me some feedbacks. Thanks! :D

I've played Wolfenstein 3D... I liked The Catacomb Abyss better... probably because it was more Halloween. I also played Doom I-III... my fave was the alien graphics you could add to it-- so the flying skulls were those face-huggers and such. =)

Wolfenstein is a lot like doom... maze-like levels with ammo and things in rooms. The graphics are old school... VGA... 256 colours... blocks and such. I remember it was "soooo coool" when it came out. Then Doom followed and suddenly Wolfenstein was a little blah. As a classic, though, it's worth playing.

I remember playing the original Wolfenstein on a PC that you first had to load the CD into a shuttle before it went in the computer.

But then again I remember using floppy disks that flopped...
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Jadewik,

The Catacomb Abyss? I've never heard about it before, so is it really good? Which game system? N64 or PS?

Game system? Commodore 64, maybe? Heh.

It's "abandonware" now... you can download and play them on your PC. You'll probably need something like DosBox to play 'em though-- computers now-a-days are too fast to play older games.

I'll definitely check out for The Catamcomb Abyss. Thanks for the info. It looks cool to me! ;)

Anyway, have you ever played HEXEN games before? They're great!

The only part I liked about HEXEN was the part where you could turn things into pigs. I really don't care much for those FPS games. I prefer adventure games... even to those newfangled MMORPGS.

Whoo!! I already bought Wolfenstein 3D for the Gameboy Advance! :D Sadly, GameStop store doesn't sell any more N64 games! :(

Yes, of course, I do have HEXEN 64 for that N64 system and it was good! Yeah, something when you use your hand to unleash the magic, to make things and other creatures into pigs! hee hee
