David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in it!

My girlfriend went and saw this movie and what can I say, it goes like this, if you're a fan of The X-Files, you know it fell into two groups the Alien invasion episodes, and the monster of the week type episodes, so if you wanna know where this falls.... SPOILER ALERT.

After she was being a fan of the series for a while, she was eagerly anticipating them wrapping up the Alien story with big flashy special effects and a good sendoff, man was I wrong, the movie falls under the category of monster of the week episode, and borrows a lot from Re-Animator, now I'm not saying it's a bad movie, but not just what I was expecting and wanting.

I went to see it today and agree with your girlfriend. It really could have been a lot better than it was. I was kind of disappointed, but it was still cool to see them back together in a movie.

I may rent it too. I was never a big fan of the show but watched it from time to time. There's just other movies out right now that I'd rather see.
