I don't believe in this stuff. I highly doubt the world will come to an end. Earthquakes, storms, they are all part of nature. They are not a sign of "The End of Days".

FYI: I don't think so the world is going to end... I watched the History Channel a little long time ago a while... It says the world is going to stay "forever".

Yeah..... Sorry Tantraman. I too, think its all a bunch of hooey! From the dawn of time mankind has always been afraid of the inexplicable and have and always will, try to explain things in a way that helps us all believe we're somehow in more control.

AND, you should probably relocate this thread to the 'Off Topic Stuff' forum. Just a thought.

That's the date when the Mayan calender runs out... and supposedly all sorts of predictions have been made concerning that date.

I joke that this day is the "end of the world"... no one really knows the date... but the sadist in me would laugh if it was the day before or the day after.

... and as for all those "natural disasters" being "natural"... I have a different POV on that. Maybe things like that are more commonplace now-days, but I'd hardly think Noah would have called the flooding of the Earth a "natural disaster". There is a reason for everything even though we may not understand it.

Is Dec 12, 2012 really the day of the apocalypse? Who cares. Shouldn't you live your life as if every day is your last anyway?

Ask me on Dec 22, 2012. ;-)

I think that the date in the theories is Dec 21, 2012 by the way.

And, I agree, live your life as if it was the last day of it.

I don't know but it does freak me out but only becaus I don't want any harm for my kids. then again if it ends it ends I shouldn't worry about it. I get hooked watching shows about it on the history chanel. I love history chanel.

We've lived through Y2K, we'll muddle through this "predictable" catastrophe.
