Okay, folks I don't mean to be a wet blanket here. I've been to Medjugorje, and there were a lot of prophecies that came about from those aperitions that implied that the world was going to come to an end. I do believe in these apperitins, and I do believe that some time in the future these thinngs will happen, but what get's me is how some people presume to know the date that WWIII is supposed to break out, or that the world is going to come to an end. Lately, the Sci Fi channel and History Channel has been all a buzz about December 21, 2012. The end of the Mayan calender supposedly is also the end of the world as we know it. Well not to be rude, but here is where I stand. You can chalk it up to the fact that I'm in my late 40s, or maybe I'm just plain syincal, but n ever the less this is how I see it.
1962, the year I was born, the Cuban Missile Crises was supposedly the end of the world. It didn't happen.
1980, the world was supposed to come to an end according to all the talk that was going around a few years before. Again, the meia had a hay-day.
1985, according to Naustrodamus a global famine was supposed to break out, and two thirds of all humanity was supposed to starve to death or die from desease.
1988 was the year califirnia was supposed to fall into the ocean.
1986 World War 3 was supposed to break out, and when it didn't happen
1997 it was supposed to break out.
2000 was the year the Y2K bug was to turn our entire civilization into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight on New Years Day.
So in simple terms, I've live my entire life with the 'end of the world' in some form or another being predicted to happen at some point in the near future.
