I also read the book the film is based on-- the film really closely parallels the book. I really enjoyed both because they're not typical "zombie"... I hate the futility in zombie films, so it's rare that I watch a zombie film. I really like the underscored theme-- that present-day society has become so anti-social that they've forgotten how to interact face-to-face. It's really quite good... and a really great social theme to disguise as a zombie film. The analogy is priceless!

^^ I admit it was chicky. If you take everything at face value, ignoring the analogy on society becoming zombie-like, it was extremely chicky.
