If there's an image there, I'm not seein' it...?
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I'm a polytheist when it comes to greatest horror movie. I don't think there's just one. I would put Halloween, The Shining, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and, for a more recent one, The Ring as part of the pantheon up on Horror Movie Mt. Olympus, but it's really impossible to pick only one.

I'm with you, Mac. There are too many good horror movies to pick just one.
But for the sheer creep-out factor, I have to say Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
I also love Nightmare on Elm Street, The Amityville Horror, High Tension, Halloween and The Exorcist.
The Exorcist still gives me goosebumps!

That movie was FREAKY!!! How about Idle Hands, not really a horror but more like a horror/comedy. I like it.

Isn't that the one where Seth Green gets his head chopped off and becomes a zombie?? And Jessica Alba was in it too, wasn't she.... :cyclopsani:

I think the best ever has to be Dracula (1931) with Bela Lugosi and a close second Frankenstein (1931) with Boris Karloff

Have you ever seen the Spanish version of Dracula they filmed at the same time as the Bela Lugosi version, using the same sets but a Spanish cast?? I actually think the guy who plays Spanish Dracula is better, scarier, than Lugosi.

I have it on DVD but I hate subtitles so I have never watched it, but it looks really cool and many say that visually it was better filmed.
