Here's a list of the shows that I screen every October. I can't really say which one's my absolute fav, but these flicks are very much a part of my Halloween TRADITION.

"It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"
"The Haunting" (The Oribinal)
"The Hauntine: (Remake)
"Dracula" Bela Lugosi
"The Wolf M an" "Lon Chaney
"Frankenstein" Boris Karlov
"House of Dracula"
"Son of Dracula"
"House of Frankenstein"
"Ghost of Frankenstein"
"Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man"
"Dark Shadows" (The Movies0
"Dark Shadows" (Indivudual eps from the original tv series)
"The Blair Witch Project"
"Blair Witch part 2"
"The Monster House" (For my little grand niece)
"The Legend of Sleepy Hallow" (Old 80s tv mini series)

And, of course, I screen a whole host of other horror flicks, a lot more in October then I do at any other month of the year.

I have a lot of scary/eerie movies, not sure I could list them all. Some I find I like to watch this time of year are

Mary Reilly
Dracula (Gary Oldman/Winona Ryder)
Sweeney Todd (the stage play with Lansbury/Hearn--I own the movie, too, but don't like it so much)
An American Werewolf in London
Ghost
The Exorcist
Silence of the Lambs
The Exorcism of Emily Rose (this is a new one for me, but I love it)

We also love the Mummy trilogy (Brendan Frasier), and Ghostbusters, of course
NIghtmare Before Christmas is imaginative, and Hocus Pocus was an early favorite for my kids--I need to get a new copy of that one

American Werewolf in London is a great movie. You go in for a werewolf and get a zombie/ghost in the bargain.

Wayyy too many favorites to list, I'll be here all day! hehe
Great choices here though.
I just got through watching the original "Carrie". That's a good one.
