I hope that everybody enjoyed the holidays.
I had really bad back pain for about 2 weeks after I slipped on the ice, I'm doing better now but I'm still experiencing some issues, the holidays were fine other than that. It's usually slow for business in Jan. but it's been very busy for us lately, so ...

Re: Merry Christmas 2025
Lucy: Everyone talks about how "great" Beethoven was. Beethoven wasn't so great.
Schroeder: What do you mean Beethoven wasn't so great?
Lucy: He never got his picture on bubble gum cards, did he? Have you ever seen his picture on a bubble gum card? Hmm? How can you say someone is great who's never ...

You can also sink them in lakes, since fish like to hide in them.
You learn something new every day. :)
It sounds like you're going to be busy Murf, will your older son be coming home for Christmas this year?
Andy, of course you have a Beethoven statue, why wouldn't you?

Well, it's also possible that she might not even have the photo after this long.
I understand your point though, obviously you don't want it to look like that's the only reason that you're contacting her, so at some point during the conversation you ease your way into it and say something like ...

Here's a short interview with the show's creator explaining the accent. He answers it at the 2:30 mark.

Re: Merry Christmas 2025
Murf - Oh, yes, the girls absolutely love it!
It's funny, last week they asked me why we didn't put the tree up yet, as my wife usually has the tree up by Dec 1st, and I told them that she's been busy with work, but that we would do it on the weekend. They still didn't know that we were going to ...

Re: Catching up
Thank you Murf. Yes, Millie is definitely loved and appreciated by those of us that have grown up with her. Like I said, my grandmother wasn't around for much longer than my grandfather, and Millie became a surrogate grandmother to us, and now she sits as the head of the family, still offering her ...

Re: Catching up
I can understand young kids being resentful towards step siblings, because they don't know better, but your half sister was a adult at the time, or at least old enough to have kids since you said she had a kid 2 years after you were born, and you would think that she would want to embrace you ...

Re: The best Christmas episodes and tv specials
Oh, I've watched it, so I got the reference right away. I first found out about the show when I was watching a Halloween stream and Billy & Mandy's Jacked-Up Halloween was on. It's a pretty good show. By the way, I just did a quick search and it looks like they released season 1 on DVD, and the ...

Re: Catching up
I'm thankful that Millie is still around, and that her mind is still pretty sharp. Obviously, she is the only person from her generation left in our family, and she has told me everything that she remembers about her life including stories about her grandparents, my great great grandparents. So I've ...

Re: The best Christmas episodes and tv specials
I came across this online and didn't know where else to put it. I'm not sure if it's a painting or a digital image, but it certainly is a unique perspective on jolly old St. Nick and ... uh, Mrs. Claus?

Re: Catching up
I think that any decent person that kills another human, regardless of the reason, would have it weigh on their conscience, like your father did.
I haven't ever killed my dinner, but I would if I had to, like in a post apocalyptic scenario. If that happens then I guess that we better get used to ...

Re: The best Christmas episodes and tv specials
There are channels on youtube that stream Christmas music 24/7, some of them don't even have ads, they play every type of music like instrumental, classics, modern, and any other type of Christmas music that you like.
