Re: What do you hand out on Halloween?
We usually get the Kiddie Mix at Sam's. Has things like tootsie rolls, smarties, dum dums. Then I buy a bag of lollipops for the babies. I will get some bags of the good stuff...snickers minis, reece's cups, and candy corn. CC is a must have!

Re: What do you guys think about trick-or-treaters without...
My children went ToT'ing as babies. Not once did they cry or whine or "hate it". All the candy I received went to older kids in my husbands family. Was it for me? sure as hell was! Considering that where I live, I wouldn't have had any ToT'ers show up at my house anyway....I didn't feel like sitting ...

Re: Zombieland (2009)
I saw this last night and laughed my butt off! Seriously, don't go to it expecting it to scare the pee outta ya. Ok, you might jump a few times (or scream like I did) but it's hilarious.
Uhm, someone said the chick from twilight is in it? Which chick? The girl that played the main lead in twilight ...

Re: Annie Wilkes
I think of this one as a psychological horror flick. And the book....OMG! I have to give King some credit, out of all of his movies...this one is the one that is most closest to the book and doesn't leave you ticked off. And I have to admit, when I read the book (which I just got done reading again ...

Re: Getting Freaky with 'Paranormal Activity'
I demanded this one too. Our paranormal society is planning on seeing it together. UNFORTUNATLEY, only 2 theaters in our state are showing the movie next weekend.....and neither theater is in our town. Nor is either theater close by. The closest one is 3 hours away.

Re: A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010)
I saw the trailer and it looked pretty good. It gives a hint that they show what happened to Freddy in the beginning, unlike the original where you had to wait for momma to fess up. I know that the original still scares the eff outta me, this one is going to have to be equally as scary or worse to ...

Re: Things I learned from Zombieland
I saw this last night....freaking hilarious! Even better, I didn't go with the hubs so I get to again today with him. YAY!
I learned that over the years, zombies have gotten a hell of a lot faster! Wth happened to the slow moving groaning Romero zombies?

Re: They should make a vacuum for pumpkin guts
At the risk of being banned forever.....pumpkin guts are NASTY! UGH! I can't be at home when hubs empties them out. If I am there and see it or smell it, I vomit. My oldest will rinse all the seeds off for me so I can cook them. After much spraying down with Neutra Air and disposing of guts I can ...

"Decorations we buy and make. Small stuff that I can pick up for a couple bucks I will buy. Big things (ie: coffins, mummies) we make.

Re: buying vs making your own
Costumes wise we tend to buy. My kids don't ever want to actually make their costumes. Plus they lack the enthusiasm I had as a kid (is it something in the water?) and want to go for something generic. My middle daughter is going as a powerpuff girl, my youngest son is batman. My oldest surprised me ...
