Re: Black Friday
If you take care of 'em cars can just keep on and on and on...
There's a "94 Bronco XLT on the ranch that I use for dump runs and hauling stuff that's about ready to turn over 195k. The tranny has been rebuilt twice but that's about it for big repairs.
The tailgate window needs a new gasket so it can't stand too much rain before it starts to smell like a barn
Found a pic from the pumpkin farm. She's the tall one to the left.

Re: Black Friday
.
Shoot... my '96 Ford Ranger has over 165,000 miles, as of yesterday is on only it's third set of
shocks, still on it's second set of brakes and has the original clutch in it. Last time I had it tuned
up I was told it's in perfect running condition, still gets 23 miles to the gallon on the freeway.
Only thing wrong with it is a dent in the front fender and one in the back quarter, both hit and
runs. Some paint is peeling on the tailgate and there's a tear in the bench seat. That truck has
treated me good. My 2006 F150 has over 60,000 miles on it and so far has given me no
problems. Oh... I've had to replace both rear brake lights... #%@$^$!!!! Otherwise, I'm good
with Ford.

Yup. she starts one the first try every time and runs like a charm. My VW only has 76k on it and is a mechanical nightmare, but you don't buy a Beetle for it's reliability, it's a nostalgia thing.

Re: Black Friday
I'm sorry, but every time I hear the name, Camaro, I think of this song!!
The Dead Milkmen:
Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro!
I ran over my neighbors
Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro!
Now I'm in all the papers
My folks bought me a bitchin' Camaro
With no insurance to match
So if I happen to run you down
Please don't leave a scratch
I ran over some old lady
One night at the county fair
And I didn't get arrested
Because my dad's the mayor
Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro!
Donuts on your lawn
Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro!
Tony Orlando and Dawn
When I drive past the kids
They all spit and cuss
Cause I've got a bitchin' Camaro
And they have to ride the bus
So you'd better get out of my way
When I come through your yard
Cause I've got a bitchin' Camaro
And an Exxon <deleted>
Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro!
Hey man where ya headed?
Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro!
I'm drunk on unleaded!

Re: Black Friday
BMWs arent bad as long as you stay on top of the regular maint, when you stop keeping up the regular stuff and the valve adjustments then they start costing big money....I miss my BMW...Andybev01 wrote:but I bet you don't miss the repairs.

We have one and yes the repairs are costly but we buy them off of eBay or aftermarket parts and just fix the problem at home. We just replaced the whole cooling system in ours because it kept overheating. I guess the '94 325ic is notorious for that problem but all is good......for now.
