Where Does Santa Come From?

Postby AFirestone » Fri Nov 26, 2010 1:37 am

Hi Guys

I wrote this book that I thought you might like. I did it years ago and it just dawned on me that forums like this should be on the net.

Thanks for having me here

As you can see I was very passionate about the topic and was thinking about the book for more than 15 years.

Felt great to do it and have self publishing give me a hand. I never could see how any of the publishers would be interested or even give me a hand in improving it. I only sold a 3 over the internet and gave away about 20 of them to friends and family.

Anyway great to be a part of a forum of people of like mind.

From what I understand of Santa Claus Legend and Lore, Nicholas of Myra was the very First Santa Claus, whom all other Santas aspire to follow the example of.
The Story Really took off after the Story of Santa Claus came out just after the Civil War.

Yeah and the way Santa has changed over the centuries is a story in it own right. Going from nation to nation to the point that even japan has a monk in red who does the same thing.

I loved it so much I did a book on it.

Father Christmas wears red clothes and a long white beard. Santa Claus is always good to us. Santa will be so happy to fly through the snow on Christmas Eve. We tried to stay awake as long as possible to see Father Christmas,
