Hmmm I actually don't find "Monsters" Scary I think they are mostly mis-understood,
So called real people on the other hand scare the hell out of me.....

Creature from the Black lagoon, by a mile. I built a head for him years agol, to run off latex masks, and then Unviersal came out with one anyway..so a couple of years ago, I did a torso and arms as well, and hung that on top of a BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO store display I got. It was rained on and became delicate, so now it sits in a coffin in the front yard..but I might make him pop up one of these years..

I would have to say the creature from Frankenstien, he was definitley misunderstood in Mary Shelly's novel, but all the old black and white movies made him kind of evil.

I cycle through all of the old classics. It seems that one year I will be into Dracula and Vampires, and the next year its Frankenstein. I have always had a fascination with Zombies though. I always have these weird day dreams about looking out the window and seeing a bunch of walking dead coming toward my house. For some reason that creeps me out more than anything.

I'm like shanbanclear. To quote from Land of the Dead:

The Mummy, for sure. A few years back I bought 20 yards of cheesecloth...it took a whole hour to wrap me, and it wasn't until I was totally wrapped that I realized ...I really didn't think this through...I had to go to the BATHROOM!!!

Boris Karloff had the same problem..they finished when he had to hit the john...check it out..since that time all mummy outfits have special slit to make it to the men's room..I used to go as the mummy, but only did my legs are arms and face..so it was one of those mexican mummies..

my all time favorite would have to be the werewolf. i've always liked them since i was a kid watching the older movies. i just think it would be cool to be able to turn into one of them and terrorize the neighborhood. is there any other werewolf fans out there?

Man this is a hard choice... is it which monster is scarier or which do we like more? Even then I have a hard time choosing. I've always liked the original black and white movie favs - Vampires, Werewolves, Mummys, Frankenstein, Creature From The Black Lagoon... those aren't necessarily scary to me but I still like them anyway. I guess if I had to choose only one, my favorite of the bunch would be the vampire.
