Some more pics Halloween 2006

Post by MHooch » Tue Oct 24, 2006 9:39 pm

Here is a very early shot of the fence, not complete, and no graveyard yet. (My little nephew that lives next door got so excited he had to put his little sign out in the front, he couldn't wait 'til tomorrow when we finish!) A couple of shots of the basement, not complete either, but coming along.

I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Where did you get the fence around your front yard? I need something like that . . .
Laurie stares at the station wagon as it moves past. She looks directly at The Shape inside. There is a quick glimpse of him, a strange pale face staring back.

thislazylife, my husband made it using directions on this website:

http://hometown.aol.com/smessin983/Hall ... oween.html

just click the "My Projects" link and select "cemetery fence". It was really easy, and looks FABULOUS, if I do say... :D

It is for sure Fabulous. Very cool. I like all the lights...I am doing my diningroom in mostly purple lights...

Here's an idea that i did before, and then I revised it...you take a round table, and take rope lighting, and use painters tape, and tape the lights around the legs of the table, under the table top....then you put a translucent table cloth over top of it, and it makes it really neat...

The one year I took strips of white sheets and layed them over the table in different lengths, with the lights coming through from underneath...and then you put an oscilating fan under the table, and it gives this effect that the strips of cloth are swaying in the breeze...kind of like a ghost....it is spooky.

Hooch- where did you get the popcorn and hot dog cut outs on your one door?? I love those...I want them for my bar/gameroom.

Spooky, I got those signs (they are metal) on a website...I'll have to do a little research and get back to you...I can't remember the name right now.
