How many of you have that one ornament that no matter how tattered or ugly, has to be displayed or it just isn't christmas?
Here's mine. He is one a pair made in the 50's and in real life they don't scowl at you...only in photos.
...and those 'candles' look a lot like billy-clubs...
weird.

I have an old one from my grandmother that my parents always used to put up. Kind of a sequin bird thing that is really pretty, but kind of showing its age. I'll have to take a picture of it.

I have a ton of tacky ornaments I have to display! Even on my beautiful new tree this year, I still added them! Some are from as far back as childhood, and decorating the tree would not be the same if I ever left them in the box, instead of hanging them and remembering the day I first received the ornaments.

I agree that seeing the old ornaments is a wonderful way to bring back memories!
