Tonight - Christmas would just have to be called off without a broadcast of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town." Thanksfully, that won't be necessary this year, because the classic airs tonight at 8pm on ABC channel. Depends on your own area with different times.
Wednesday - Get your popcorn ready for another standby: "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" at 8 pm on CBS Channel. Best reason to watch" The glorious voice of Burl Ives. The "Animagic" special, a favorite since 1964, has been digitally remastered, but the story hasn't changed. Rudolph and his pals still scurry to save Christmas.
If you're in the mood for a little something more mature, "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" airs at 8 pm on NBC channel. Al Roker hosts. The performers will include Tony Bennett, Faith Hill, Beyonce, the Jonas Brothers, Harry Connick Jr., "American Idol" victor David Cook, Rosie O' Donnell and Rascal Flatts. The High point is usually the Christmas tree lighting.
