Gingerbread houses

My wife and children love making gingerbread houses every year. It is a three or four day project from start to finish. My wife posted her recipe and the history of gingerbread on our family Christmas page along with pictures and the easy 5 step process.

This is the Gingerbread house on the Disney Magic, it is huge. I imagine that the Disney wonder has a similar display. While the kids below did not eat it, it looked as if someone else had been nibbling!

Disney does do a nice job with their Christmas decorations every place we have visited. The ships are no exception.

My wife and I did a Gingerbread house for the first time last year. We bought it as a kit from Walmart I think. I will have to post a picture of it soon. It turned out really good until my 2 year old started to eat all the candy.
