Whats in your collection???

Postby GreenElf on Wed Nov 08, 2006 12:54 pm

Just wondering what Christmas movies you have in your home collection? A few in mine are.....National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Flinstones Christmas, Surviving Christmas, Christmas with the Kranks, A few different Disney Christmas cartoon movies (Mickey Mouse, WInnie the Pooh, Donald Duck etc...), The Little Princess, Miricale on 34th street the original oh and a bunch more.... man my memory sucks! I know alot of my movies in the Christmas/holiday boxes are not always focussed around Christmas as the main theme but could be just that time of year like Just Friends, Last Holiday... stuff like that. The more the MERRY-er..

To be honest...I only have A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. I got them in a two pack from a friend a couple of years ago. I usually mostly buy horror movies, but I really love Christmas movies so I was thinking of buying more this year.

I also like to watch Harry Potter around now, and I have the first three of those.

Thats cool. I too love Horror movies but I have been collecting movies for years and have such a wide range of genres I have fun organizing them in groups and bringing them out certian times of year as I would not have the room to place then nice neat and Feng Shu like if I had them all in my living room..

Hah hah. I don't really have that many movies. Just one DVD tower's worth.

It's only been in the last year that I've actually started buying them myself. I bought a really decent amount of them in September and October and I am looking forward to buying Christmas dvds in Nov/Dec!

That is a huge list! I have a pretty good number of them on DVD and Blu-ray (where available) too. The Nightmare Before Christmas always starts off the holiday season in Sept/Oct since it covers multiple holidays. ;-)

I forgot, I have that one (Nightmare Before Christmas), too.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to afford, Blu-Ray, but maybe, someday.....

I got it with my PS3 so it turned out well that way. If you have a large screen then it is definitely noticeable to see the movies in 780p or 1080p. On a smaller TV I couldn't see much difference.

'We're No Angels' is one of my all-time favorites. Who knew that death during the holiday could be so charming!!
and Peter Eustinov is a riot! :D

Another one in my stack is 'Bell, Book &, Candle'. Stewart and Novaks best pairing in my humble opinion!
