ooo, silverbelle, get the new febreeze candles. the apple spice and the harvest scent in particular. you won't regret it. those are the most amazing candles ever. they are a little expensive, but they will fill your house with the most wonderful aroma, and take away any gnarly stench! :D

Those scents sound pretty wonderful Kallie, I'll keep 'em in mind!

But alas, today at the mall I didn't get any candles...or any Christmas presents. I DID manage to get a great deal on some new winter clothes and shoes for the guys though, AND they got to go see Santa so it turned out to be a pretty fruitful journey indeed! :D

Buying for the Angel Trees is a great way to do this. You can also go to World Vision online and donate money to help buy a goat for a village or fund a well to be dug.

Just a thought. :)

You're absolutely right, Catzilla, and those are good suggestions, Jack! My husband and I usually donate to the local food drives and the Marines sponsored 'Toys for Tots' drive as much as we can, but I will check into World Vision online as well.
