Do you watch scary movies the whole month of October?

Post by Spooky » Sun Sep 17, 2006 9:24 pm

I sure do. I love scary movies...Mostly from the 80's....some from the 70's. I remember loving to get scared even as a kid and watching the old werewolf and Dracula movies, when they use to be on Saturday afternoons, black & white was creepy.

Some of my favorite horror movies are:

Friday the 13th Part 2 & 3 (1 is 3rd best)-the rest after 3 got dumb

Halloween 1 & 2

Halloween 3-Season of the Witch

April Fool's Day

Waxworks

Curse 2-The Bite (Awesome movie with Jill Schoelen and J. Eddie Peck-very cool effects)

Cujo

Carrie

Prom Night

Terror in the Aisles

Silent Scream

He Knows Your Alone

Witchboard

Poltergeist

The Amityville Horror (The original)

The Fog (The Original)

The Shining

The Stepfather

The House on Sorority Row

Death Weekend

The Legacy

When a Stranger Calls

When a Stranger Calls Back

The Lostboys

I am sure there are lots more......what are your favorite scary movies??

Hey spooky!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love pretty much all the movies you mentioned. I watched a scary movie every weekend in October. Our friends come over and we light candles and watch them togther. We make a big spread of food and get scared together. I can't wait for this years get togethers cuz it's a cheap and fun way to enjoy eachothers campany and get ready for Halloween!

I do that as much as possible too, but the night of my Halloween party a bunch of people spend the night and we try and stay up as long as possible watching scary movies. I watched Halloween 3-Season of the Witch ...last year...I hadn't seen that since I was a kid, and I really liked it.

Spook, while you hunt down the music, you can look a couple of threads below for a recap on everybody's scary movie picks..more in entertainment too...
I'm up to chapter five in THE PHANTOM CREEPS and probably BLACK SUNDAY today or tonight with Babs Steele (this you have to check out..a few folks who are nobodies fools think it's the best Italian horror flick EVER..)...the ladies at work have a perference for the movies I bring in on nights and the ORDER...IN DREAMS is sure to make the cut the first night...
Future events such as these will effect you in the future

Tonight I'm going to start packing (blech) and I'm planning on Sleepy Hollow, and maybe Dracula 2000. And some pumpkin pie candle, and some cinnamon coffee. yum.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.
