Need help with yard decorating ideas

Post by Red » Mon Sep 18, 2006 1:23 pm

Hi

This year we have a new home with a huge yard. The house is so far away from the street that decorating the yeard is our only option.

The wife won't let me do anything crazy with lights, flying ghosts or anything like that, but I would like to have some sort of lawn decoration with maybe like a bunch of jack-o-lanters, scarecrows, or something "classy" like that.

Is there a website that sells entire set-ups for things like this? Not sure where to look or how to get started

Thanks

Hay bales are real cheap, you can always get a couple of those and throw some pumpkins and corn on them. I know you can find this stuff at craft stores and Wal-Mart for just a few dollars.

I like the hay bales...they are large, so would fill up the yard space. And multiple carved pumpkins...you can't beat the glow of a JOL for Halloween ambiance! Would you be up for some tombstones, maybe a fogger?

I posted this website on here already...but you can buy entire scenes from this place, and even things to put on garage doors to create a scene.

It has awesome stuff.

Pumpkin Decor

Post by kiki » Fri Sep 22, 2006 12:04 pm

There is a really neat house in my neighborhood that decorates with only those old cheap plastic pumpkins for trick or treating! It's really cute! They have large & small ones hanging in thier trees and in their bushes.
I am getting excited!!! It's getting close!

so cute nicely done!
I LOVE HALLOWEEN. IT'S THE ONLY TIME OF MY CHILDHOOD WHERE I CAN REMEMBER TRUELY BEING HAPPY AND AT PEACE. I WANT MY SON TO FEEL THE SAME WAY.
