Photo-of some costumes we have done

Post by Spooky » Sun Sep 17, 2006 8:39 pm

My brother in law surprises us every year with a really awesome costume. Last year he really did great. This is him with a mask on, he built the table, and put black felt and leaves and spanish moss on it, and had holes cut out for his head and hands...my friend bought me this big Witch's spell book, and we filled it with candy and put it on the edge of the table, so that when kids came up and got some candy, he would grab their hand and scare them to death...Check it out:

He's mine too...He thinks up the neatest stuff. He was saying this year he was thinking about being Oscar the Grouch...and putting a real garbage can in my house...and just sitting it in different places, and nobody would know when he was inside it or not...I thought that was neat.....he also said about trying to make some kind of platform in my yard where he was a scarecrow, and it looked like his feet were dangling but he was actually sitting down...he always thinks up something really awesome. You would think that me and my family and friends had never grown up...but that's exactly the way I like it.

That's awesome! You totally would never have thought that somebody was in there! Let us know what he does this year. Hmmmm that gave me an idea. I might try something like that this year when we give out candy.

I even made my mom (In the skull make up) dress up...this was years ago, but I have never ever missed a Halloween ever at going out trick or treating with my kid, or when I was a kid:

Ok, I looove the Spiderman costume! I have been obsessed with Spiderman for 24 years of my life! It's cool now because the popularity of the movies has brought us tons of Spiderman costumes, and even some Spidergirl ones too! This year I am going as a pirate because I have this really cool costume I bought 2 years ago from buycostumes.com. I just like it so much so I will be wearing that to my party, but when I go to my mom's party I want to go as something else.

The only thing I would do with that table is either screw in or super glue a bowl to it. That way if the kids freak out the candy bowl stays in place. Otherwise, it's near perfect. I just may do that this year!
