I love TSO's Christmas Eve/Sarajevo and the Four Seasons' version of Carol of the Bells.

I guess if I had to pick one song it would be Johnny Mathis' version of 'The Christmas Song' off of 'Merry Christmas Johnny Mathis' which is the best Christmas album ever recorded.

And the second best Christmas album ever recorded is Ray Coniff We Wish You a Merry Christmas

I grew up with these records and Christmas would NOT be Christmas without them.

For the longest time my favorite song has been the Carol of the Bells instrumental version that Harry Connick, Jr. does.

I also like the version of it (Opera of the Bells) that Destiny's Child does.

Oh...and...my friends are always shocked at the crazy/popular music that I will listen to if it's Christmas related. hah hah.

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" as sung by Judy Garland in "Meet Me in St. Louis" is the number one top favorite.

But "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" as done by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band is a close second!!! :D

I love that CD too. Vince Guaraldi's stuff was really great for ALL the peanuts shows!

You should check out Wynton Marsalis' Joe Cool Blues; it's his take on Guaraldi's music and a keeper.

During the holidays I really like to do holiday reading and I got this book out of the library last year. It was very interesting.
