lol@santa with candy. I tried to come up with something witty like Stranger with Garland...hmm, Stranger with...tinsel? But alas..
So I checked the site after my last post and they ARE doing it again this year!! *dies of happiness* We'll probably go the first week in December, that's when we usually go  It really sets the mood for the upcoming month of festivities.

Awesome. 2 million pounds of ice.
From my recollection they have ice carvers from China flown in. I think last year they tried to avoid that step- but in the longrun the cost of keeping ALL of that ice perfect, all year, in TEXAS, was a huge, expensive task. It had to be.
It's so cold in there,OEJ..err, OBP

Way below freezing, something like 15 degrees. Peoples cameras freeze up (they warn you before you go in)..I keep mine in my pocket with pocket warmers, and I try to keep it in my hand (in pocket) at all times. I wish I had more pictures, I know I do. The ice bridge with the pond beneath,w/ ice skating bears.
The lifesize gingerbread house..

which was even better last year. I just can't seem to find last years pics in my photobucket. D'oh.
