im so excited about everything coming into the stores. i went shopping the other day, and i swear i almost cried when i found halloween tshirts for my kids. ahh i can't take it...i want it to be here....of course, here in houston, tx its still very hot and we don't generally get real falls anyhow, but i still have somehow found a way to love the season. im going shopping this weekend to add to my collection of decorations. im a pretty new "collector" so my decorations are still very few compared to many of the people i see on here...of course, compared to all my family and friends, i have a ton! i love it!!!!!!

Halloweenqueen, if you want to get together and go crazy Halloween shopping with a fellow houstonian and halloween junkie, you just let me know. I've wiped out Walgreens, Hobby Lobby and Party City, but I've yet to hit Walmart and Target and Garden Ridge. Any other ideas??

I'm in the southeast, Deer Park, and work in Clear Lake, near NASA. What in the bloody heck is Spirit? If it's anything close to what I'm hoping, I am already geeked about it.

OMG! Don't tell me there aren't any Spirit stores out by you....ahhh...i would die! Spirit is a chain of Halloween themed store that opens in September. Basically they rent out spaces for the season and then after Halloween they close down again until next season. You can go to their website spirithalloween.com to find one close to you. they have all sorts of things. There's also another hallween superstore in the willowbrook area that a friend of mine saw and told me about. not sure of the name of that one though. Im in Humble and work downtown...

morning everyone
been sick the past few days so i haven't been around

halloween is in full swing here in the poconos. all the stores have their stuff out, the supermarkets are selling pumpkins and cider
there's halloween clothes out for the kids (the husband won't let me buy for our daughter yet. i'm working a lot next week, i'll make a lot of tips. i'll go out then and buy her her clothes) the weather's nice and chilly, the leaves are changing

the husband and i are drawing up plans to decorate
mo inflatables this yr though. i want a spooky theme and an 8 ft inflatable cat in a pumpkin isn't spooky
trick or treat

Mornin, Rosie, glad you're feeling well enough to post! You're so lucky it's cooling off there, it's still 90 degrees here. Booo.

Halloweenqueen, your worst fears are confirmed, I've never heard of or been to a spirit store, but you can bet your sweet patooty I'm going to that website right now!
