I like to watch "Horror of Dracula" on Halloween because the first time I saw it was on Halloween night back in 1975. It made a big impression on me!

About a week before, I start the serials THE PHANTOM CREEPS and RETURN OF CHANDU. The last two chapters go down before breakfast.
Usually, during the day, it's PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE, ROBOT MONSTER, then maybe DEAD OF NIGHT, CARNIVAL OF SOULS, the very first NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, anything by Val Lewton,
Not that much, actually...I'm on the road and in the kitchen a LOT during the day, so most of the flicks have to wait until night..
Oh yeah, Sinster Cinema's Classic Horror Trailers...for a while in the late 80's Sinister Cinema had a Canadian arm, and sold these great great trailer tapes..six in all...great party stuff...you put it on the tube and just let it roll..running around ebay now, and pretty reasonable as things go..if you HAVEN'T gotten the Sinister Cinema catalog just go to the web site NOW and give it up...it's free and you NEED it, trust me...

Halloween day/night I usually watch classic horror films. But all of October I like to watch suspense/horror films. :D

Yeah me too. I watch my Halloween/horror movies/DVD all of October and September. Actually I just dug my collection out this weekend and am deciding on which one i will watch first. Last year I had to pack them away around Xmas time as I would prefer those to the Xmas specials and unfortunately I am the only one in the family who is a pure bread Halloween freak...oh well. So I have my wonderfuly movies back out of my upstairs cubbie hole and will be smiling for the next few months!!!! Yippie!!!!!

My buddy Mike, every year does a three day Halloween film festival. His last name is Ruger, and the festival is always called "The (n)th Annual Rugerian Helloween Film Fest" This year, the ninth so far, I know he's including:

Deep Blue Sea (smart sharks are scary!)
Nightmare on Elm Street
Dead Birds
It Came From Outer Space
Gattaca
Silent Hill
Quiet Earth
Underworld Evolution
Warlock
Escape from New York
Day of the Triffids
Andromeda Strain
Phantoms
Lost Skeleton of Cadavra
War of the Worlds
Mysterious Island
Alien Vs Predator
House of Wax (Paris Hilton is scary!)

I'm assuming you go to the film fest. Must be a good time. Its funny you mentioned Dead Birds cause I just watched that last night. I also watched People Under the Stairs. Good times.... I think the next ones I am going to watch is Shaun of the Dead ( think is is so funny even though there are zombies in it) and Vampire in Brooklyn.

Dead Birds was much better than I expected. If you like the funny slasher films, have you seen Dead and Breakfast? It has a great comedy element, but it's still very atmospheric and suspenseful. It's a little gorey, too.
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Thanks, I will have to see if they have that one in town. Yeah in regards to Dead Birds, when I first seen that movie I didn't know what it was even about. It wasn't too bad and it is a good watch every once and awhile. The whole kind of cowboy feel is a strange element in the movie.

Yes Pet Cemetary is a good movie. I have both parts and 1 of course is better but part 2 isn't too bad. Part one though is pretty disturbing I think. Not only the cat, and the crazy lady but the little boy..do you think if you could access to the cemetary you would ever use it?????? Just a odd ball question to see what people might say.
