I forgot about this classic-

Ernest Saves Christmas

I think we'll watch it on party night too.

I think it is hysterical.

Another great Disney movie to watch is:

The Snowball Express

My Uncle's mother wrote the book that Walt Disney bought the rights to, and turned it in to the Snowball Express. Their names are on the beginning credits. Where it says based on the book by them.

Johnny Whitaker actually plays my Uncle in this movie.

It is based on my uncle's parents real life...they owned and operated Ski Resorts all over Vermont and Canada.

His father was the U.S. Good Will Ambassador to Bolivia, back when he was younger...then they retired to do this.

It is pretty awesome.

I have the movie on DVD. I highly recommend it for a winter movie.

Very cool..I should be able to trade off this story for WEEKS this year at the ward parties..

also, on Saturday, I run IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE for a client at work..they had a very deprived childhood, and never saw it...or MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET.. we figure they have waited long enough..
Run run Rudolph, Santa's got to make it on time..

The last time was last night and it was freaking colorized. I hate that colorizing stuff.

I watched the movie "Bed of Roses" last night. It stars Christian Slater and Mary Stuart Masterson. I like it. It has a whole Christmas scene in it, and the house in it reminds me of my own, so I love it. Plus, her favorite flowers in that movie are also my favorite flowers, and my husband has sent them to me several times. They are lavendar roses, called "Sterling" Roses. They are gorgeous. I highly recomend this movie.

I wish they would spread them out through the year. Even one a month would be nice. If anyone hears of one being on before November 2007, please let us know.

I always have to go with Its a Wonderful Life. :-)

While I do enjoy the others, that and A Christmas Carol are just quintessential parts of the holiday season.

Elf will end up being a classic. It's absolutely hilarious. And the Buddy Elf costumes from the movie are perfect and big sellers.

The elf costumes on the market are fantastic.
