My treat bags for this year

Post by Spooky » Mon Sep 18, 2006 12:58 am

Since I am doing a cemetary theme, I found these awesome treat bags through Oriental Trading Co. They are made really nice, and they are huge.

Those are so much fun! What are you going to put in them?? I have seen (last year) little platic coffins that have candy "bones" in them....skulls, femurs, etc. They are kind of like pez candy -yummy!

I am making candy apples(caramel and chocolate covered in assorted yummy stuff) I get these wax halloween bags to put them in, and tie a ribbon around them...everyone will get one of those...and I am ordering pumpkin seeds off a website I posted on here that has awesome Halloween candy...you can get like a 36 count box of them for under $5 and they come in regular, BBQ and Hot & Spicy flavors, then I'll throw some chocolate candy in there, and some kind of toy. If there's room...I'll throw in a Halloween microwaveable popcorn packet.

I thought about ordering stuff from Oriental Trading Co., but I was worried that they might be slow shippers . . . how fast do they ship?

Oriental Trading has a pretty fast turnaround from order date to receipt of merchandise. I've never had a problem with them. :D

Yikes, I spoke too soon, cause I ended up ordering a bunch of stuff this afternoon, and they said they won't be shipping it until Oct. 16th.

But, I won't need it until the party on Oct.28th, so that's ok by me.

I've seen the skull lollipops at WalMart, Target and Oriental Trading.

Oriental Trading always has a bunch of stuff!

I've gotten birthday party favors from them before. I'll have to check them out! :D

I love Oriental Trading because they carry everything, I mean tons of candies and bubble gums!

Of course, I like skull lollipops, even skull gumballs! :D
They have pumpkin candies and gumballs! Some are sour candies!
