Stringing Popcorn

Postby Snow-flake » Fri Nov 10, 2006 12:30 am

That's my favorite thing to do...I love to string popcorn and cranberries while watching a Christmas movie and eating sugar cookies! Yum.

One year when my daughter was little we strung Kix cereal...turned out really cute, and the birds loved it after we took the tree down!

I bet it took forever. It takes me forever to do popcorn, that's the only draw back, is how much you gotta do. That's why I like to watch a movie.

How did you string the cranberries? I tried to do it one year with my kids and it was so hard. I am sure I wasn't doing it right, I just guessed on how to do it. How many pounds of cranberries do you think is needed for an 8 ft. tree?

Did you use fresh cranberries and a needle?
