If you are a homeroom parent, trying to decide what to get the teacher (s) for Christmas can be stressful. This is an easy project as long as you allow yourself time to prepare.
Collect one favorite holiday recipe from each student. The best way to do this is to email the parents in late October. I know it seems early but some parents take a while to respond. Once all the recipes are collected, print them out (adding each child's name to the recipe they submitted. example: Andrew's Favorite Holiday Cookie). Once they are printed, bind the book, and add a classroom picture to the cover. This is something the teacher will always treasure.
What crafts do you like to do for Christmas?
