Christmas present tag ideas

I love wrapping presents and putting that special touch. I wish I had a picture of one of the tags I did for the teachers at my children's school. I gave the teachers a monogramed coffee cup. To make it look a little more festive I used metallic cupcake liner and mini christmas tree balls.

what you will need:
yarn (any Christmas color)
metallic mini cupcake liners (gold and silver but red looks great too)
gold, silver, or green mini christmas balls
hole punch

First: take 2 different color cupcake holders and punch holes.
Next: place christmas ornament top (where you usually put the hook) through the hole
Then: string yarn through holes
Finally: tie on decoration to the cup handle.

It looks festive and helps add the finishing touch to the gift.

That is really a cool idea. I never was keen on wrapping presents. Just didn't have the knack.

What about recycling last years Christmas cards by cutting out part of the picture on the card and tracing a blank piece of paper to fit behind it and securing with a red or green colored yarn or ribbon and using this for a tag. You could write the recipients name on the blank paper beneath the cut out.
