A Haunting Of Vegas

You know, I have always wondered what it would be like for Las Vegas to have a year round haunted attractions. I mean, why not? They have every other kind of attraction there! Just a thought!

They probably do have something like that, but you dont see it advertised. I haven't been to Vegas since 74.

A few plans with a year round place. First, you would be able to have enough people go through a place year round to make it profitable, especially in Vegas. Secondly, I went to the haunt that used to be Orlando Skull Kingdom back in 2006. I think they had 1-2 actors in it. Very good to keep actors motivated if they are haunting your rounds I think. So would be left with a fully automated haunt, and I think. I am not sure how scary or fun that would be.

The primary reason anyone goes to Vegas it to gamble at cassinos. My older brothers Bob and Jim go there every April. Bob and Jim's wife love to gamble. Jim thinks a collossil waist of money and only does it because he wants to do things with his brother and wife. I was there in the early part of 1975. I was only 14 at the time, so I was not allowed in any of the cassinos without one of my parents. It was a neat city, the neon lights were fabulous, but the trip was pretty much a drag, except for when we saw Olivia Newton John and the Smothers Brothers on a double bill at one of the casinos that feature dinner shows. I think it was the Silver Slipper, but I can't swear to that.

I know that have some awesome amusement park attractions, and some major thrill rides that I would like to try out when my weight is closer to normal, and I'm allways up for a motorcycle ride to a place like that, but I, like Jim, am not a huge fan of gambling.

Year round haunt in Vegas??? Just one word... NEVER!

People do not come to Vegas too much more than gamble and see shows.

They had a several haunt right on the strip... 20 feet from the curb!!!

Well, worst year they ever had!! People just walk by!!

Strip shows are all geared for 90 minutes period, why???

Well I live here (actually in Henderson) about 20 min. from the Vegas Strip and there really isn't anything to do here. The only thing worth noting is FrightDome, it's at the Circus Circus, they make it into a Halloween attraction. I went two years ago, couldn't make it last year because I was broke. I will be going this year (I'm having a yard sale to raise funds). It is soooooooo much fun, they have a circus sideshow act, multiple haunted houses, evil clowns, demons dropping from the ceiling to scare the shart out of you! I even wrangled a tshirt from one of the guys there (they only have them for employees). If you come here in October, go to Frightdome! It is kind of pricey I think $34.95 per person and if you get a Fast Pass, it's $15 more. Here's the link.
