George Hamilton Halloween Special

Post by gerber » Wed Sep 27, 2006 2:39 pm

Does anyone remember a Halloween TV Special hosted by George Hamilton back in the 90's? It was supposedly set in Transylvania at Dracula's Castle, complete with gypsies, etc. In fact, if I remember correctly, the vampire plaguing the entire program turned out to be Hamilton's gypsy love interest at the end. Most of it was a documentary about Dracula and vampires/monsters in general, and there was even a segment on the famous Highgate Vampire of England. I'm looking for the title of the program, so that I can hopefully find a DVD copy. Anyone? Thanks!

I found the information that I was looking for this evening. The special was called "Dracula - Live from Transylvania" with George Hamilton as host, and it was aired live via satellite from Budapest on Oct. 27, 1989.
