Halloween Yo Yo quilt

Post by Spooky » Wed Aug 08, 2007 10:11 pm

That's what I am working on making right now, out of Halloween material. They take a long time to make, but they are fun, because you can sit and watch scary movies and work on them...I am going to use mine as a tree skirt for a Halloween tree.

But you can make table clothes and placemats out of them too.

I'll have to post a picture of it on here.

What I love about the yo yo quilt is it's portable! You can take it wherever you go. I'm looking forward to seeing the pic Spooky. I'm working on halloween cats right now. I sew two contrasting triangles together to make a square and keep doing that and connecting the squares into rows and then rows to rows until I have a piece big enough to cut out the cat pattern - sew back piece to front, stuff, and put a Halloween ribbon around the neck. Very easy to do and they come out so cute. I'll try to post pics.
