January HALLOWEEN movie in disguise

Okay, you showed the little kiddies HUCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME when they came over at Christmas. You even got away with it.
Now what?
Well, lets' put on THE DEVIL AND DANIEL WEBSTER this month.
For LITTLE GIRL CLAUDIA, this will make her parents weep with joy. They will think she has forsaken the pagan ways of the goth and the idol worshipper and come back to the path of righteousness. The film even quotes SCRIPTURE.
But man, oh man, wait until you see the ZOMBIE SCENES.
Okay, first things first.
You probably remember the story from school. Jabeez Stone sells his soul to Satan for seven years in exchange for ALL THAT MONEY CAN BUY..(the original title of the flick) and then gets Daniel Webster to come an bail him out when Satan tries to collect.
The movie does a slow burn, making Stones decent to the lip of hell more and more scary until he builds a new house, and his sinister sexy maid Belle invites all these FREAKS from outside the house to come in. They look like homeless ghoul zombie street people...and then she does this dance of death with the bill collector who is now PAST DUE..
The trial is breathtaking and spooky and perfectly lit.
The last scene has The Devil (Walter Houston) looking around for his next victim..and he starts looking out past the screen, looking around, looking aorund, and then LOOKS AT YOU..and nods his head, and eyes you like a steak dinner...very nifty.
Made by a guy who was in Germany for some of the best expessionist films of the era..and it shows..
Future events such as these will effect you in the future

Watching a creepy movie on a happy occasion is always fun, I guess.

One of the more creative things I've seen is a Zombie Movie Marathon on Easter. This was a special party some people threw, and many people were invited. Few people actually showed up, but those in attendance enjoyed a day full of zombie movies from different countries. There was food and drink and...ghosts...
